About The Position

This is a part-time, ongoing opportunity for an Independent Contractor with SFS, Inc. to perform furniture assembly work both in-store (for a Nationwide Office supply chain) and in-home. The role primarily involves assembling Ready-To-Assemble (RTA) Furniture, with additional opportunities for those experienced in assembling TV Wall Mounts, Gas Grills, Sporting Goods, Bicycles, and Display Racks. As an independent contractor, you will have control over your work schedule and the amount of work you take on.

Requirements

• Must possess merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience
• Ability to assemble products according to client’s written instructions
• Able to understand plan-o-grams and perform customized category resets independently
• Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend and stand for extended periods
• Internet access & active email address
• Reliable transportation, some travel involved
• Have own tools
