About The Position

Our flagship Fairview Heights Location is looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends showroom sales, customer service, daily operations, and physical labor. If you enjoy a job where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Work on their feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
Be a fast worker, capable of keeping organized.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Exceptional customer service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor are a must.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture (typically alongside a teammate).
Comfortable working both indoors on the showroom floor and outdoors in the elements.
Willing to handle basic administrative paperwork and keep the store looking spotless.
Comfortable navigating basic computer systems and digital POS software.
A strong work ethic, a collaborative team spirit, and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude, assisting them on the showroom floor, and processing sales.
Keeping our showroom floor in pristine, retail-ready condition through daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and organizing.
Unloading, assembling, moving, and arranging heavy furniture displays. You will also assist customers with safely loading purchases into their vehicles.
Assisting with incoming shipments and managing our U-Haul rental fleet. This requires working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
Handling basic administrative tasks, checking U-Haul equipment in/out, processing transactions, and managing customer paperwork on our computer systems.
Assisting with local furniture deliveries, offering an excellent opportunity to put extra cash in your pocket.
