About The Position

Requirements

  • 2+ years thoroughly documented & relevant work experience
  • No license/certification needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage, inventory and distribute furnishings located in warehouse and 12 dormitories.
  • Conduct physical inventories as described in AFI 32-6000, CE Housing Management.
  • Request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Government-owned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines.
  • Identify and report suspected abuse or loss of property for items damaged, destroyed, or lost.
  • Purchase, receipt, issue, installation, warranty tracking, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
  • Prepare and update annually one- and five-year long-range furnishings plans.
  • Submit furnishings budgets to the Housing Chief as required.
  • Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating throughout Dyess AFB on both paved and gravel roads.
