About The Position

We are looking for a Furnace Loader that will be responsible for transporting and handling of parts between operations and departments. The Furnace Loader will also check ovens, charts, and the status of work in-progress to ensure the job moves to the next operation appropriately. They will take copies of travelers to production to inform them of the job status for planning and refer to the daily schedule to determine the priority of jobs to move into press ovens. Additionally, the Furnace Loader will check travelers to ensure the correct oven temperature is being used and load ovens after confirming that the alloy and code for the job and traveler match, alerting the Press Lead if there is a mismatch. Loading and unloading parts into carts or etching baskets, maintaining traceability, and keeping accurate part-counts are also key responsibilities.
