About The Position

The purpose of the Fundraising Support Temp is to support our local market in order to meet the fundraising objectives of March of Dimes. The position will provide event support for our Omaha Signature Chefs Gala and act as a liaison between March of Dimes and supporters, volunteers, and donors. Must be available for on-site event support in Omaha, NE on Thursday, October 8th. This is a part-time temporary position anticipated to start in June and end on October 15th, 2026.

Requirements

  • Able to use personal cell phone/laptop to make calls, watch online training videos, and send email communications.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Event planning/support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Must be professional, energetic, positive, and able to provide excellent customer service via telephone and email communication.
  • Use Teams and Outlook on personal computer.
  • Eloquently present March of Dimes information (event, campaign, mission, etc.) to constituents and event supporters.
  • Provide pre-event and post-event support remotely.
  • Provide on-site day-of event support on 10/8/26.
  • Pick up locally donated items and event materials.
  • Manage an excel document updating contact information and tracking calls/emails as you go.
  • Assist with local market administrative tasks, logistics, and fundraising efforts.
  • Meet with March of Dimes manager on as-needed basis.
