The Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is a significant peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States, recognized for its growth and impact. As the Director, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you will be instrumental in driving the success of a major walk event. This role involves leading a team of volunteer leaders, utilizing sales and relationship management skills to meet revenue targets through engagement with corporate and community volunteers. You will also focus on increasing brand awareness by cultivating relationships with key corporate and community partners. A key aspect of this position is recruiting, coaching, and empowering volunteers to ensure strong committee retention and succession planning, setting the event up for long-term success. You will inspire volunteers, teams, and participants to achieve fundraising goals, aiming to make the event one of the most successful nationally. This specific Director position will oversee the Greenville Walk to End Alzheimer’s and will be part of a collaborative team of development professionals managing various Walk events or the Do What You Love to End ALZ campaign for the South Chapter.
