About The Position

We’re hiring fundraisers in NYC to represent some of the world’s most recognized nonprofit organizations. No experience needed - we’re looking for outgoing people who enjoy talking with others and want their work to support meaningful causes. This role is a great fit for people interested in nonprofits, community outreach, advocacy, fundraising, public engagement, marketing, social impact, or other people-focused work. Our teams raise funds through face-to-face outreach with members of the public in community spaces and neighborhoods across the city. Fundraisers speak with people about important nonprofit campaigns and invite them to become monthly supporters. Successful fundraisers enjoy talking with new people throughout the day, working in energetic team environments, and being active and on their feet instead of sitting at a desk. This is a face-to-face outreach role that involves speaking with members of the public throughout the day.

Requirements

• Outgoing and comfortable speaking with new people
• Strong communicators who enjoy social interaction
• Passionate about humanitarian, environmental, or social justice causes
• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working outdoors and on their feet
• No experience needed
• Must commit to at least three full 7.5hr shifts per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fundraising, nonprofit work, advocacy, sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, volunteering, activism, education, or other public-facing roles is helpful - but not required.
