Requirements
- Minimum of five years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Graduate degree preferred.
- CPA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversees and reviews tax filing processes related to mutual funds, trusts, etc.
- Responds to audit inquiries.
- Monitors cross-border taxation and international tax compliance processes.
- Provides responses regarding international tax audits.
- Reviews and oversees research and analyses or mergers and acquisitions.
- Evaluates tax impacts and provides recommendations to management.
- Provides direction on advice and guidance communicated to the business related to .
- Supports the development of tax strategies in building out and improving upon services.
- Monitors for legislative and regulatory developments and complies with domestic and international taxation, tax laws, and regulations affecting global investments of Vanguard products.
- Attends industry and vendor conferences to stay abreast of changes and industry impact.
- Contributes to the development and growth of less experience crew members, provides technical guidance and on-the-job training as needed.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
