Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
  • 2-3 years of work experience at a public accounting firm or a combination of public and private accounting roles
  • Experience in audit or accounting within the financial services sector
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience working with large datasets and reconciling complex accounting information
  • Excellent organizational skills with a track record of delivering accurate work under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical accounting information to non-accounting stakeholders
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance scalable fund reporting processes and controls that support growth, increase accuracy, and reduce operational risk
  • Prepare and review interim and year-end financial statements for funds in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Partner with internal teams including Tax, Operations, Treasury, Valuation, Legal, Compliance, and Investor Relations to deliver timely and integrated reporting
  • Liaise with external fund administrators and auditors to manage audits, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables
  • Drive automation and process improvements to streamline workflows, improve data integrity, and scale reporting capabilities
  • Support new fund launches and restructurings by executing accounting deliverables, fee calculations, and documentation
  • Prepare regulatory and investor-facing reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting timelines
  • Own and complete ad-hoc projects and strategic requests from senior management, working independently and collaboratively with the team
