About The Position

The Fund Finance Staff Attorney is responsible for assisting with new and ongoing credit facility matters. This includes handling amendments and modifications, facility increases and maturity extensions, and joinders of new borrowers. The role involves coordinating with clients, lender’s counsel, and local counsel in various offshore jurisdictions. Additionally, the attorney will draft and review closing deliverables such as resolutions, UCC filings, legal opinions, and other certifications. The position also entails assisting with the coordination of closings for financing transactions and preparing summaries of loan agreements for knowledge management and market comparisons. A key aspect of the role is maintaining long-standing relationships with clients and opposing counsel, and handling tasks with a degree of independence as training and experience develop, with the scope of these tasks potentially expanding.

Requirements

  • J.D. from ABA accredited law school
  • Admission to bar of local office jurisdiction
  • Detail oriented, efficient, and organized
