Functions Team Leader
About The Position
Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events, corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences. This dynamic role will work across multiple retail and events, both indoor and outdoor environments. The position involves taking the lead in an array of event types including conferencing, kid’s parties, sit down and cocktail events. It also includes training and developing junior staff members and providing support to management during larger scale events. The role requires end-to-end function experience and providing support to our sales team with end-to-end event reporting. Outstanding customer service to our valued clients and guests, ensuring their needs during events are met. Ensuring event spaces and equipment are looked after and well maintained. Work alongside nature in an inspiring environment surrounded by unique wildlife and lush botanical gardens.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead a team.
- Understanding of Commercial hospitality operation.
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards and allergen management.
- Adaptable and thrives in a multi-tasking environment.
- Great personal presentation and an outgoing personality.
- Available across a variety of shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Manage premium events including high-end functions, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
- Taking the lead in an array of event types including conferencing, kid’s parties, sit down and cocktail events.
