About The Position

Work with team members to ensure HARAs (Hazard and Risk Analyses) are completed properly, classify risks using the ASIL system, and define functional safety goals and system responses to prevent accidents. Support translation of high-level safety requirements into detailed HW and SW requirements and specification of diagnostic requirements. Assist with conducting FTAs (Fault Tree Analyses) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analyses). Coordinate root-causes analysis and engineering teams and suppliers when safety issue arise. Generate work products and reports to document the safety status of a given project. Participate in safety assessments, audits, and the creation of safety cases for final vehicle homologation. Collaborate with stakeholders through system "V" development from concept to launch with design reviews and CFT. Domain/working knowledge of SW controls, EE, electronics, and expertise in development, testing and validation methods of mechatronics systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Extensive experience working with Automotive EE architectures (both Domain, Distributed) from Powertrain, Body, etc.
  • Strong understanding of 1st principles in Engineering, result/solution oriented
  • Subject matter expert in Systems Engineering, Multi-domain physics, Complex systems design with EE, SW integration
  • Experience with embedded systems such as wiring and power distribution units
  • Familiarity with CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, and/or other automotive communication protocols
  • English (C1-C2)
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

  • Masters in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Systems Engineering
