About The Position

We are seeking a Functional Oracle ERP Architect with strong expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials. This role will lead functional solution design, business process transformation, and architecture governance, while collaborating closely with technical teams on integrations. The architect will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable ERP solutions aligned with Oracle best practices, conducting workshops, performing fit-gap analysis, and defining future-state finance processes. Key responsibilities include designing the chart of accounts, enterprise structures, and financial data models, as well as reviewing and governing functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, and end-to-end designs. The architect will serve as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and IT teams, define integration requirements, and support testing, UAT, and deployment from a functional perspective. This role also involves active participation in managing the project backlog, ensuring clarity and timely completion per project team SLAs, and writing robust, scalable, and performant code. The architect will be expected to prioritize and address critical bugs or incidents per defined SLAs, conduct effective demonstrations of completed features, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into subsequent development cycles.

Requirements

5+ years as an ERP or Solution Architect
5+ years with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle OIC, and Oracle EBS
3+ years of techno-functional experience in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, including: GL, AR, AP, FA, AHCS, Oracle Projects, and related financial web services
Strong understanding of finance and project accounting business processes
Ability to lead requirement workshops, gather business needs, and define functional specs
Knowledge of fit-gap analysis, solution design, and best practices for Oracle Financials
Experience reviewing and validating FDDs, process flows, and end-to-end solution designs
Expertise in data migration: FBDI, ADFdi, HDL, spreadsheets
Experience with OIC, PaaS extensions, VBCS, and ERP Cloud integrations
Strong reporting skills: OTBI, BI Publisher, and data models
Hands-on design and development of integrations, extensions, and financial interfaces
Ability to review and author TDDs, technical architecture, and integration specs

Responsibilities

Lead functional solution architecture for Oracle ERP Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, AHCS, Projects).
Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and define future-state finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
Design chart of accounts, enterprise structures, and financial data models.
Review and govern FDDs, process flows, and end-to-end designs.
Act as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and IT teams.
Define integration requirements and collaborate on OIC-based solutions.
Support testing, UAT, and deployment from a functional standpoint.
Define and standardize end-to-end finance processes such as: Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Project-to-Profit (P2P for Projects).
Active participant in managing the project backlog, ensuring clarity and timely completion per project team SLAs.
Understand the project's or application's specific SLAs, particularly regarding bug fixes, stakeholder response, and performance metrics.
Write code that is robust, scalable, and performant to prevent violations of performance and availability SLAs.
Prioritize and address critical bugs or incidents per the SLA defined by the project team.
Prepare and conduct effective demonstrations of completed features or fixes, highlighting their value to the client. Whenever possible, provide visual evidence or working prototypes of completed work.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback into subsequent development cycles, demonstrating responsiveness.
