The 1099-NEC Business Standard & Transparent Partnership
GoTo Telemed is a provider-centric partnership built on transparent agreements and your complete clinical independence . This role operates under a strict 1099-NEC independent contractor business standard.
Practitioner Responsibility: As an independent business owner, your state enrollments, licensing, and platform fees will be your responsibility.
Transparent Investment: GoTo Telemed utilizes a single $890 annual investment that provides all services, platform access, patient allocation, credentialing support, and ongoing support . There are absolutely no hidden fees, no per-visit charges, and no surprise expenses.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered license or advanced certification in Functional Medicine, Integrative Health, Naturopathy, or related holistic disciplines (e.g., NP, MD, DO, ND, DC, or advanced clinical nutrition credentials).
• A forward-thinking mindset, eager to embrace AI augmentation and interprofessional collaboration to shape the changing world of virtual healthcare.
• Readiness to operate as an independent 1099-NEC contractor and assume standard business responsibilities, including the transparent platform investment.
• Passion for lifestyle medicine, root-cause healing, and building long-term, meaningful patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional virtual functional medicine consultations, focusing on root-cause analysis, lifestyle modifications, and comprehensive wellness planning.
• Actively collaborate and share cross-specialty referrals with medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health professionals to ensure true whole-person care.
• Coordinate with traditional medical providers to manage chronic diseases, emphasize preventive health, and deliver comprehensive nutritional and lifestyle guidance.
• Utilize AI-augmented patient engagement tools, including automated follow-up reminders and secure messaging, to increase visit frequency and strengthen patient-provider relationships.
• Utilize our integrated ordering system for patient labs and specialized functional diagnostic testing when clinically appropriate.
