Requirements

  • TS/SCI required to be considered for the position
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Eight (8) years of experience in at least one (1) of the following areas: Military or operations research-related field (e.g., U.S. current military operations, munitions, readiness, and deployment routines covering air/space, ground, special operations, and maritime domains).
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Force / capability development.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Intelligence collection and analysis
  • Eight (8) years of experience working with DOD stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets
  • Adeptness in interfacing with clients
  • Expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL)

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on intelligence and non-U.S. data to support the proper employment and implementation of intel concepts and capabilities within in support of analytic studies.
  • Works with the Intelligence Community to provide the most accurate and up-to-date non-U.S. forces, units, equipment (FUE) and infrastructure data for IC-designated nations.
  • Acquire, evaluate, and verify intelligence community informed non-U.S. military (both conventional and non-conventional) FUE and capability data.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance methodologies to capture, organize, maintain, and present current, and future year non-U.S. FUE databases.
  • Acquire non-U.S. data to assess, describe, and document the conditions of data availability quarterly; identify, describe, and document constraints.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance methodologies to capture, organize, maintain, and present allied and partner-related data to support studies and analyses yearly to include allied forces for scenarios, strategic guidance, and national security strategy.
  • Research allied and partner data to assess, describe, and document the conditions of data availability as well as identify, describe, and document constraints such as classification, format, and data pedigree.
  • Perform updates to data collection and verification methodologies by suggesting changes to how JDS acquires non-U.S. forces data as well as developing options to automate or streamline data review functions within JDS.
  • Update data products quarterly and make new/updated products available to the users in various forms.
  • Establish a collaborative working relationship with data providers and related subject matter experts to ensure JDS has the most accurate non-U.S. forces data available.
  • Create, transform, and tailor datasets to studies, analyses, models, simulations, and other analytic methods that capture enabling capabilities quarterly.
  • Provide analytic support and non-U.S. data and intelligence subject matter expertise to technical studies, analyses, or rapid assessments.
