About The Position

As a Functional Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the unique mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in analyzing customer data and requirements and then sourcing that data to fulfill requests. You will manage incoming requests, triage each one based on priority and difficulty, comb data sources for best options, and then work with your fellow teammates and off-site partners to bring mission requirements to an operational state. The successful Functional Analyst must be able to make decisions/recommendations using the best available data and demonstrate superior attention to detail including excellent proof-reading skills, accurate typing to ensure overall accuracy and data integrity during a dynamic operational lifecycle that serves a wide range of internal customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products and the ability to learn various COTs and GOTs software applications used by the customer
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • US citizenship required
  • Ability to multitask between multiple information systems and multiple Networks

Responsibilities

  • Manage/Support the successful completion of tasks related to the mission requirement, including technical work, financial activities and customer care and interactions
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of partners to develop and fulfill mission requirements, meet specific geographical work objectives all while serving as a subject matter expert to various support elements to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems
  • Initiate and monitor sub-contractor activities and work closely with an offsite subcontract manager to facilitate and fulfill requirements during the operational lifecycle of the mission requirement
  • Utilize your outstanding writing and verbal communication skills to enable successful and positive interactions with a wide variety of customers and customer groups
