About The Position

We are looking for a skilled FullStack developer for Data Lake activities. This hands-on role will partner with senior-level development managers, architects and business leadership to develop and execute the technology product roadmap. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing Micro Service applications with expertise in building Java-based server-side applications with Spring Boot. Should be strong in SDLC life cycle, planning and execution Should be willing Lead the team and to perform 100% Individual contributor role. The role will provide opportunity to work in niche functional areas of Capital Markets, Functional knowledge and experience in similar projects is highly desirable. Expected to spend 100% of the time on hands-on development, design and architecture. Designs and executes end to end system tests of new installations and/or software prior to release to minimize failures and impact to business and end users. Responsible for resolution, communication, and escalation of critical technical issues. Prepares user and systems documentation as needed. Identifies and recommends Industry best practices. Serves as a mentor to junior staff. Ability to provide agile status notes on day to day project tasks. Should demonstrate ownership, good analytical and quick learning capabilities. Should possess good communication skills and should be able to work independently with minimal guidance. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides.

Requirements

Skilled developer in Java, React, Python Developer
Strong data, PL/SQL knowledge
5-8 years of IT experience
Industry experience (preferably in Financial Services) in supporting enterprise applications
Exposure to Cloud based Data engineering platforms with deep understanding of data processing frameworks
Solid experience with developing micro service applications using distributed computing frameworks
Proficient in developing Micro Service applications with expertise in building Java-based server-side applications with Spring Boot
Strong in SDLC life cycle, planning and execution
Willing to Lead the team and to perform 100% Individual contributor role
Demonstrate ownership, good analytical and quick learning capabilities
Good communication skills and should be able to work independently with minimal guidance
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides
