About The Position

Willow Hill Elementary is seeking a Full Year Guest Teacher (Building Substitute) for the 2026/27 school year. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. The selected applicant will be paid $25.35 per hour and may need to apply through ESS Midwest if hired. The role involves day-to-day assignments within Willow Hill Elementary, reporting every instructional day. Daily positions will be prearranged via the WillSub system. In the absence of specific coverage needs, the Guest Teacher will report to the building administrator for support assignments within the building, which may include special education aide duties. A minimum of 60 credit hours from a college/university/community college is required to obtain a day-to-day substitute permit through the Michigan Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Report every instructional day to Willow Hill Elementary.

• Provide support assignments, which may include special education aide duties, as necessary.
