About The Position
This is a full-time stocking position responsible for various tasks related to receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and the store environment. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, managing backstock, building displays, handling product damages, and maintaining cleanliness. Specific duties may vary, especially for overnight stockers who might also be assigned 'Floor keeper' responsibilities, which involve cleaning and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Basic mathematics (counting)
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to perform tasks including standing, reaching, reaching above the shoulder, twisting, bending/stooping, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
Responsibilities
- Unload store trucks
- Stock, face, and rotate merchandise
- Work through backstock
- Keep backroom organized and clean
- Build displays
- Report and record product damages and credits
- Remove trash and cardboard from stocking areas
- Load and operate cardboard baler (Employees who are 18 or older ONLY)
- Perform 'Floor keeper' duties (for overnight stockers), including cleaning store floors and restrooms, and checking powered cleaning equipment.
- Other duties as assigned
