About The Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate, confident, and clinically strong RNs and LPNs to join our overnight team at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE. Hillcrest Health & Rehab provides skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, and long-term care in a supportive environment focused on helping residents and guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a night-shift nurse, you will help bring that mission to life by providing excellent clinical care, steady leadership, and the reassurance residents and guests need throughout the night.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current Nebraska RN or LPN license required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within Hillcrest’s established timeframe.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to safely assist residents and guests with care needs, transfers, and mobility as needed.
• Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Must be flexible and calm when responding to stressful or rapidly changing situations.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology.
• Must follow established nursing, medication, infection-control, documentation, and safety procedures.
• Must be available to work an every-other-weekend rotation.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, hospital, or a similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and support for residents and guests.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents and guests closely for changes in condition.
• Use strong clinical judgment to recognize concerns and determine appropriate next steps.
• Respond to urgent needs and changing clinical situations throughout the night.
• Support residents and guests with dignity, comfort, privacy, and respect.
• Partner with Nurse Techs, Medication Aides, and other team members to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Provide clinical direction, guidance, and support to care team members during the shift.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with residents, guests, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure important information is clearly communicated during shift handoff.
• Follow established medication-management, infection-control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Help maintain a calm, safe, and supportive overnight environment.
• Jump in and help wherever needed to keep care moving smoothly.
