About The Position

A busy family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a second nanny to primarily care for their sons, aged 4 and 5. The role requires providing structure, activities, outdoor time, learning support, and calm daily routines. The family has another nanny for their 1-year-old, and the new nanny will work as part of a household team. With a new baby due later in the year, both nannies will collaborate during the day, supported by a night nurse. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, with Sundays and Mondays off. A live-out candidate is preferred, but live-in will be considered. Flexibility is needed for family travel, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate is loving, proactive, structured, and willing to assist wherever needed in a busy household with young children.

Requirements

• Recent experience caring for children ages 4 to 7
• Comfortable creating structure, routines, and age-appropriate learning activities
• Warm, energetic, calm, and confident managing two active boys
• Authorization to work in the US
• Valid driver’s license required
• Confident swimming with children
• Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working as part of a two-nanny team

Nice To Haves

• A native Spanish speaker is a plus
• Teaching background preferred, especially preschool, kindergarten, early elementary, or phonics/reading instruction

Responsibilities

• Providing loving and patient care, including overseeing meal, sleep, and hygiene routines
• Get the children dressed, fed, and off to school in the morning
• Transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Creating an engaging and fun environment- actively play with the children
• Researching, planning, and executing activities and outings
• Proactively providing children with educational activities and assisting with homework
• Keeping children's areas and belongings tidy and organized
• Create and maintain existing structure and systems in the home to help develop independence
• Children's meal preparation
• Packing and preparing children for travel
