About The Position
A warm, loving family in Redwood City, CA is seeking a reliable, creative, and communicative full-time nanny to care for their two young children (a 2-year-old girl and a 3-month-old boy). The household includes a friendly dog and operates as a non-smoking environment. Both parents will be on staggered leave from September through November 2026, so sole care of both children simultaneously will gradually begin in December 2026. The 2-year-old will start a half-day pre-K/daycare program in June 2027.
Requirements
- Proven nanny or childcare experience, including experience with infants and toddlers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs

- Strong professional references demonstrating reliability, trustworthiness, and exceptional communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, engaging, and compassionate care focused entirely on the children during their awake hours
- Lead age-appropriate activities, including tummy time, reading, outdoor play, and hands-on arts and crafts
- Transport and pick up the older child from her half-day pre-K program starting in June 2027
- Perform light housekeeping during children's downtime and naps
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
