About The Position

A family in Rockville Centre, NY 11570 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny to care for their 1-year-old throughout the day and assist with after-school care for their 4-year-old. The schedule is 4 weekdays per week, either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday OR Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling approximately 38 hours per week. The 4-year-old will join care from 3:45 PM to 5:30 PM on scheduled workdays. The family resides in a smoke-free home with one well-behaved, hypoallergenic Labradoodle.

Requirements

• Previous infant care experience required
• Experience caring for multiple children at the same time
• Must be able to reliably commute

Nice To Haves

• First Aid/CPR certified

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for the family's 1-year-old throughout the day
• Care for the 4-year-old after school until the end of the workday
• Light housekeeping, tidying up after children and children's laundry
• Meal and/or snack preparation
