About The Position
A family in Scarsdale, NY is seeking a Full Time Nanny with previous infant care experience to primarily care for their newborn, due mid-August. The nanny will also be responsible for transporting their 5-year-old to and from after-school activities as needed, starting after the initial two months. The family resides in a smoke-free home.
Requirements
- 1yr+ of childcare experience required (Full-time nanny experience preferred)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Must hold a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation (family provides vehicle for driving duties)
- No technology (smartphones, TV) usage while the newborn is awake
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- General light housekeeping (cleaning up after the baby/light tidying)
- Family meal prep during quiet hours/naps when the children do not require direct attention
- Transport 5-year-old to and from after-school activities as needed (after initial 2 months)
