About The Position

We are a busy, private, health-conscious family with young children and homes in multiple locations. Our household values wellness, nutrition, clean living, and thoughtful routines, with a strong emphasis on creating a calm, nurturing environment during these early years. Our days can be full and dynamic, with periods of travel and shifting schedules due to both parent’s demanding and unpredictable careers, which is why having a well-organized, proactive household team is essential. We currently work with a small household staff and are building toward a fully supported, long-term household structure. This role will work closely with other team members to keep our home(s) running smoothly—whether we are in residence or traveling—and to ensure consistency, organization, and care across all environments. This is first and foremost a childcare-forward role for someone who genuinely loves early childhood development and thrives creating engaging, thoughtful days for young children. Approximately 70% of the position centers around childcare and family support, with the remaining portion focused on key household management tasks that help keep the home running smoothly. We’re seeking an experienced, grounded, and proactive professional who deeply understands Montessori-inspired learning, child-led play, emotional regulation, and developmentally appropriate engagement. You naturally align with values like organic food, gentle parenting, low-to-no screen time, and intentional routines. The ideal candidate is highly organized and systems-oriented, especially when it comes to children’s activities, meal prep, routines, and household flow. You enjoy creating calm and order, are confident offering thoughtful suggestions, and work well independently while collaborating seamlessly with hands-on parents and other household staff.
