Full-Time Faculty - Associate Degree Nursing Program
About The Position
The faculty member will teach courses primarily in medical-surgical nursing at various levels in the associate degree nursing program. The faculty member may also need to fill in to assist with staffing in the practical nursing program courses. Responsibilities will include teaching lecture, lab, and clinical components of courses in the program. The faculty member will be expected to participate in nursing curriculum development, and assessment of course and program outcomes. They will also be expected to participate and contribute to program reviews, assessment of student achievement; and advisement of students in curricular and discipline-related matters when appropriate. The faculty member will participate in College and program governance; engage in scholarship and professional growth; support the LCCC mission, vision and values; and pursue and attain tenure.
Requirements
- Graduated from an approved registered nursing education program.
- Current, valid, unencumbered State of Ohio nursing licensure with no board actions.
- At least 2 years in practice as an RN.
- Master's degree in nursing.
