About The Position

A lovely family based in Kensington is seeking an experienced, professional and engaging Full-Time Daily Nanny to care for two children: a boy aged 4 and a newborn baby aged approximately 8 weeks. Their eldest child is vibrant, active and sociable. He has lots of friends locally and enjoys playdates, swimming, football and tennis classes. He also attends nursery for half days, 9am–12.30pm. He enjoys building Lego and drawing, and the family would like a nanny who will encourage his creativity, interests and development. This role would suit a nanny who is confident caring for both a preschool-aged child and a young baby, and who can support the family with good organisation, communication and a calm, professional approach.

Requirements

• Experienced with both newborn babies and preschool-aged children.
• Warm, reliable, proactive and engaging.
• Confident supporting an active, sociable and curious 4-year-old.
• Able to encourage creativity, independence and age-appropriate development.
• Organised and confident managing classes, playdates and local activities.
• Calm, capable and attentive with young babies.
• Professional and discreet, with good communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a home where one parent works from home.

Responsibilities

• Care for two children: a boy aged 4 and a newborn baby aged approximately 8 weeks.
• Support the eldest child’s daily routine, nursery attendance, activities and development.
• Support nursery drop-offs and/or collections as required.
• Organise and attend local playdates, classes and activities, including swimming, football and tennis.
• Encourage age-appropriate learning, creativity, Lego building, drawing and active play.
• Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for the newborn baby.
• Support feeding, changing, settling and the baby’s daily routine as required.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the eldest child as required.
• Carry out nursery duties relating to both children.
• Work alongside the parents with good communication and a flexible, professional approach.
