This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for various tasks related to passenger service and aircraft handling. You will greet passengers, provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience, and use reservation/ticketing software to manage itineraries and issue boarding passes. You will also ensure accurate processing of passenger information and timely flight departures. A key part of the role involves resolving passenger issues during flight interruptions and potentially working in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and address passenger inquiries. The role requires comfort with technology, the ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift, and the physical capacity to lift and handle baggage. Maintaining composure in challenging customer situations, interpreting baggage tags and cargo labels, and preparing the aircraft for its next flight are also essential. Communication via radio electronic devices, ensuring compliance with regulations, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy baggage, pushing carts, ascending/descending stairs, bending, stooping, crawling, and driving ground equipment are integral to the position. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning the interior of the aircraft and lavatories, and working outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions.
