Requirements

Current CHHA certification is required, though training is available for the right candidate with the right heart
Confidence with housekeeping, meal preparation, and safe transfer techniques
Compassionate communication skills and respect for client privacy
Ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
Reliability, patience, and a strong desire to help others

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, home health aide, or related experience is preferred
We proudly offer CHHA training through our own certified school

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility.
Prepare simple, nutritious meals and help maintain a clean, organized living environment.
Provide medication reminders and observe/report basic health changes.
Provide conversation, emotional support, games, walks, and accompaniment to appointments or errands.
Support prescribed stretches and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
