About The Position

Experian is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production software. This role involves owning features end-to-end, including writing and reviewing code, contributing to application and cloud architecture, and participating in automation and security work to ensure system reliability. The position is based in Phoenix, AZ, and is a hybrid role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production software.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#) across frontend and backend.
• Experience working in Git-based workflows, including pull requests and code review.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on a cloud platform (e.g., AWS or Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, or infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with access control, data handling, or vulnerability remediation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) or production frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, test, and commit production code across the stack.
• Design software, applications, and cloud architectures, and help turn those designs into maintainable systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for changes to be tested and released.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC), policy-as-code (PaC), scripting, and automation.
• Modify configurations that influence access control, data exposure, or system resilience.
• Fix and manage security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, and infrastructure.
