About The Position

Join ADT’s engineering team to develop our next-generation, cloud-native monitoring platform that delivers real-time safety solutions for homes, people, and vehicles at scale. This position involves building mission-critical microservices, high-availability systems, and modern web applications that directly impact personal and property security. You will work with a cutting-edge technology stack and apply best practices in microservices architecture, CQRS, event-driven design, and cloud-native development.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with NestJS and REST API development
Familiarity with React and modern frontend practices
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud services

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices
Develop RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards and security best practices
Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, RBAC)
Build event-driven workflows for asynchronous processing
Design and manage schemas and migrations for PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Spanner
Optimize queries and maintain data integrity across distributed systems
Develop responsive, accessible UI components for React-based portals
Work closely with Product Management, DevOps, QA, SecOps, and IT
Additional duties as assigned
