About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in building scalable and available web services. The role involves designing and implementing complex systems, managing service reliability, and contributing to cloud operations. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring effective communication between various services using paradigms like pub-sub and microservices architecture.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent field with a programming background
• At least 5+ years of experience building scalable and available web services
• Strong experience working with Object-oriented Programming Languages, Python, Django, and React.js
• Expertise in APIs (REST / GraphQL), general web backend design principles, relational databases (MySQL / Postgres), streaming pipelines, pub-sub systems, and indexing systems

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar tools/technologies
• Experience building SaaS product offerings

Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable code
• Design and implement complex systems including communication between several services (pub-sub paradigm, microservices architecture)
• Manage service reliability, including any cloud operations work (AWS, Google Cloud)
