About The Position

Our client is on a mission to revolutionize the space economy by enabling rapid and reliable access to space. In addition to building out the launch systems that will bring this mission to reality, they’ve also built a robust SaaS platform used by internal teams and a growing list of external customers that helps run smart engineering, prototyping, and build practices. This product is used by designers, engineers, assemblers, and specialist makers so they can deliver great hardware for their customers. They’re actively seeking a Full Stack Engineer to help build new features, from backend data models to frontend components. This is a great opportunity to work across the entire stack and help scale a software platform helping engineers design hardware better, faster, and more intuitively as they usher in a new era in space travel. This is a contract opportunity with potential to go FTE. Currently hiring remote candidates based in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington (hybrid remote if located in the Greater Seattle area).

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS or related degree
• 1-3 years of success working in Startup and Enterprise environments building commercially available software at scale
• Demonstrated experience with UI development, containerization, as well as backend services
• Strength in a variety of modern software languages including GraphQL, Typescript, Postgres, Next.JS, and React
• Must qualify to work in an ITAR environment (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)

Responsibilities

• Build event driven services
• Design and deploy mission critical Frontend (React) Components
• Work collaboratively with other developers, ensuring designs are implemented correctly
• Generate quality code with comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Help with various CI/CD initiatives
• Code new features using a mix of Typescript, Postgres, React and other technologies always with an eye on testing
• Participate in a reasonable on-call rotation to support the SaaS product
