Full Stack Software Engineer - Alts & Data Management
About The Position
Addepar is seeking a full stack software engineer to join the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team. The team builds AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that unlock transparency, efficiency, and insight in private market investments. The engineer will work on a full-stack team and collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver client-facing features. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment. Compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The stated U.S. base salary range is $114,000–$178,000; the specific starting pay depends on role-related factors, location, and market conditions. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of full-stack development experience, or at least 1 year of front-end development experience and at least 1 year of backend development experience.
- Care about delivering quality and value to clients in an agile manner.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship, and be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on the first day of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Python or Java development experience.
- Experience with React, web components, Svelte, and/or Ember.
- Full-stack product engineering experience.
- Experience using generative AI for coding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and key clients to define and deliver solutions that support and streamline user workflows.
- Work alongside senior software engineers to deliver features end to end, with opportunities for ownership.
- Coordinate with web platform and design system teams to ensure the product is a seamless part of the Addepar user experience.
- Engage in Addepar’s inner-source culture and foster standardization across its React, Terraform, and Python codebases.
