About The Position

Gartner IT is seeking a well-rounded software engineer to join the Gartner’s Peer Insights Team. This role is part of a highly motivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration, working on high-performance web development environments using cutting-edge web technologies. The position involves working in a multi-cloud environment and utilizing containerized pipelines for applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
3 -4 years of professional experience developing customer-facing web applications.
Experience in building and deploying complex, scalable web applications and services, demonstrated as a Full Stack Developer with proficiency in Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring JPA), React, Next.js, Typescript.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and best practices.
Backend experience in building APIs, working databases.
Experience with responsive design and building applications across multiple platforms.
Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
Experience designing full-stack interfaces.
Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Valkey, or other caching/indexing technologies is a plus.
