About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer to design, build, and support modern applications, APIs, and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the Contact Center & Telephony Services organization. As a Full Stack Software Development Engineer, you will leverage cloud-native technologies, system integrations, and data-driven solutions to streamline workflows, improve platform reliability, and deliver scalable user experiences that support critical business operations. This Full Stack Software Development Engineer role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise initiatives spanning application development, automation, analytics, and cloud engineering. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges, drive innovation through modern technology, and help shape solutions that create measurable value for both internal stakeholders and the customers CVS Health serves.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, developing, and supporting full stack applications, APIs, or enterprise software solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Python, including application development, automation, system integrations, and API-based solutions.
  • 2+ years building and deploying cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, including serverless technologies, event-driven architectures, and related cloud services.
  • 2+ years creating reporting, analytics, and data visualization solutions using Power BI or comparable business intelligence platforms.
  • 1+ year applying modern software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Agile delivery, and DevOps methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or integrating with Contact Center and Telephony platforms such as Five9, Cisco, Avaya, Oracle, Genesys, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation, user provisioning, access management, and operational support processes, including orchestration of business and technical workflows.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices, including logging, performance monitoring, alerting, and operational reporting in cloud environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies that enable scalable platform management.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments, collaborating across multiple teams to deliver solutions that balance business needs, operational support, security, and reliability.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications, APIs, and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve user experiences, and support critical Contact Center & Telephony Services business functions.
  • Build cloud-native solutions using modern technologies and engineering practices, leveraging Python, Azure services, system integrations, and event-driven architectures to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Develop and support intuitive dashboards, reporting solutions, and data-driven applications that provide actionable insights into operational performance, service delivery, and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, reliable, and maintainable software solutions while contributing to architecture, design, and technology decisions.
  • Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that ensure application quality, scalability, and reliability.
