About The Position

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Full Stack Software Developer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of software solutions supporting X-Rite Pantone products and platforms. This is an early-career opportunity to build foundational expertise while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The Full Stack Software Developer will partner with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to customer and business needs. This position is part of the Software Engineering team, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and will be hybrid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Academic, internship, or co-op experience in software development or engineering
  • Foundational proficiency in C# and .NET development concepts
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to full stack web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar technologies)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with software testing and validation methods, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack software applications using C# and .NET technologies
  • Develop, test, and validate software components to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and apply established development standards and best practices
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of software defects
  • Contribute to software testing and validation activities
  • Utilize version control and CI/CD tools to support efficient development workflows
