About The Position
Our client in Buffalo, New York, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join their team! This is a hybrid/full-time/6+ month contract position Salary range based on experience: $50-$55/HR About the Role JMS Technical Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our client's development team. This role will contribute to the design, development, testing, and enhancement of software applications across both the front-end and back-end. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer who enjoys solving problems, writing quality code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving applications and development processes.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience with: .NET SQL, including queries and stored procedures JavaScript Vue.js
- Ability to manage deadlines and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, technical leaders, and cross-functional team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and enhance software applications across both front-end and back-end environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code in accordance with business and technical requirements.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software is reliable, efficient, and performs as expected.
- Follow established architectural and development standards to create lean, extensible, and well-documented solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Integrate applications with auditing, logging, and performance-monitoring systems to support troubleshooting and system health.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain development standards and best practices.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Work with senior team members to help define system designs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to team performance, development processes, and software quality.
- Follow established configuration and change-control processes.
- Contribute to quality assurance procedures and overall software quality.
- Help simplify and improve the end-user experience through effective technical solutions.
