Full Stack Software Developer, Hybrid Remote (DW26061053C)
About The Position
GTSC seeks a Full Stack Software Developer for a mid-August 2026 start. Commitment to start must be by June 30th to complete background checks. This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area, with occasional onsite work or team meetings. The role involves full stack development using a trunk-based development model, committing frequent tested code, maintaining short-lived branches, supporting feature flags, participating in code reviews, following coding standards, avoiding security vulnerabilities, writing automated tests, supporting Section 508, documenting APIs and architecture decisions, and participating in sprint reviews. This position is on a new Task Order with client review of contingent hires.
Requirements
- Python + FastAPI
- ReactJS frontend
- PostgreSQL/database design
- AWS integration (containers, APIs, services)
- Expertise in Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, trunk-based development, peer review, automated testing, secure coding, Section 508, OpenAPI/Swagger, documentation, sprint delivery, and troubleshooting.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must successfully complete required background investigation and security training.
