About The Position

Datawiz seeks a Full Stack Software Developer for a hybrid remote position in the Washington DC metropolitan area, with an anticipated start date in mid-August 2026. This role involves full stack development within a trunk-based development model, requiring frequent code commits, maintenance of short-lived branches, support for feature flags, participation in code reviews, adherence to coding standards, avoidance of security vulnerabilities, writing automated tests, support for Section 508 compliance, documentation of APIs and architecture decisions, and participation in sprint reviews. This position is on a new Task Order, and contingent hires are subject to client review. There is no degree requirement for this position.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience.
• Python + FastAPI
• ReactJS frontend
• PostgreSQL/database design
• AWS integration (containers, APIs, services)
• U.S. Citizen
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Must successfully complete required background investigation and security training
• Expertise with Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, trunk-based development, peer review, automated testing, secure coding, Section 508, OpenAPI/Swagger, documentation, sprint delivery, and troubleshooting.
