About The Position

This role involves contributing to building and enhancing their web-based enterprise health platform in a collaborative, remote-first environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong Python (Flask/ SQLAlchemy ) and TypeScript (React) experience.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database knowledge, e.g. common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, full- text or geospatial indexing techniques.
  • Proficiency targeting infrastructure as code with a security mindset (AWS, Terraform).
  • Participation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • A history of delivering complex web applications to the cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms.
  • Experience working with microservices/an API-based application paradigm.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred.
  • Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Write and test high quality code based on design specification and product requirements with minimal support from team and senior engineers on the team.
  • Participate in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using technologies like Python, React, and AWS.
  • Conduct testing and debugging software to ensure high quality.
  • Become a subject matter expert on your team’s products.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance.
