About The Position

Modern Technology Solutions Incorporated (MTSI) is hiring a Full-Stack Software Developer in Dayton, OH and Springfield, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility to obtain a CI Polygraph. The role involves developing and maintaining full-stack systems, monitoring and troubleshooting system performance, designing and implementing software solutions, managing multiple development projects in a fast-paced R&D environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, automating software processes, and communicating technical concepts to various stakeholders. The position also supports innovative projects within dynamic research and development (R&D) environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant DoD/IC experience.
Proficient in full-stack system development, monitoring, and maintenance.
Skilled in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, C/C++, SQL, or JavaScript.
Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic R&D environment.
Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to varied audiences.
Excellent teamwork skills, with adaptability for team-based projects and independent work.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in GEOINT processing research and development.
Extensive background in developing software to handle DoD/IC data for dissemination throughout the IC.
Familiarity with DoD/IC EO/IR data and its application in software systems.
Experience implementing software process automation to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
