About The Position

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer - Angular/.NET for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The role involves supporting the modernization and ongoing enhancement of enterprise financial, administrative, and HR applications. The focus will be on Angular-based development, backend integrations, DevOps, testing, and legacy system transformation. The developer will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support critical public-sector operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience refactoring legacy applications and supporting enterprise-level modernization initiatives.
  • 3+ years of state or federal government technology experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications using PrimeNG, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core and C#.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience, including database design, data modeling, stored procedures, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployments, and environment troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience performing both manual and automated software testing throughout the SDLC.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience; familiarity with government security and compliance standards such as NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, or CJIS.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting application development and enterprise implementation projects.
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting solutions, or data pipelines supporting analytics.
  • Familiarity with Azure or other cloud and infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration/content-management platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in technical design reviews and code reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Angular-based enterprise applications and supporting backend services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Analyze legacy applications and architectures, perform code refactoring, and contribute to modernization and platform migration efforts.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integrations while resolving data and performance issues.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD processes, automate deployments and testing, and assist with production releases and environment troubleshooting.
  • Perform unit, integration, regression, and system testing while supporting software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business, finance, HR, IT, infrastructure, and technical teams to translate requirements into secure solutions while maintaining architecture, API, deployment, and security documentation.
