Their cloud-based platform serves banks, credit unions, private equity firms, hedge funds, asset managers, and insurance organizations by providing advanced solutions for interest rate, foreign exchange, and commodity risk management. Working alongside leading financial institutions and strategic partners, the organization combines deep industry expertise with modern technology to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that help clients navigate increasingly complex financial markets. Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing a modern SaaS platform utilized by financial institutions across North America. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable applications, influencing technical direction, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI-assisted development practices to deliver impactful business outcomes. While this is a fully remote position, candidates located in Ontario, Canada are strongly preferred.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET development.
- Experience building full-stack applications using MVC frameworks and modern architectural patterns.
- Proficiency with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience working with: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ORM frameworks
- Strong understanding of: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with: CI/CD pipelines, Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, Source control and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within distributed teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within: Capital Markets, Treasury Management, Financial Services, FinTech
- Knowledge of derivatives, hedging, risk management, or financial products.
- Experience with: CQRS, Event Sourcing, Event-Driven Architecture
- Containerization experience using: Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud infrastructure experience, including: AWS, Terraform, AWS CDK
- Familiarity with Blazor and migration strategies toward modern React applications.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications in a cloud-native environment.

- Build and maintain modern APIs, backend services, and user-facing applications.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
- Develop and document reusable patterns, frameworks, and reference implementations.
- Mentor and support fellow engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and champion high standards for software quality.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and advocate for automated testing practices throughout the software lifecycle.
