We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer - Senior to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices, experience mentoring and leading software engineers, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Requirements
- Professional experience in software development, with a focus on web and back-end technologies.
- Expertise in front-end development (Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON).
- Advanced knowledge of back-end development (C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, LINQ).
- Hands-on experience in the full SDLC, building enterprise-level web and desktop applications.
- Strong proficiency in .NET MVC and .NET Core, with deployment experience on IIS.
- Proficient in source control tools, particularly GitHub, in a team environment.
- Solid understanding of database design, performance optimization, and production environment management using SQL Server.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, handle complex projects, and deliver results independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based development is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Build robust back-end services and APIs using C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Create technical specifications and documentation based on business requirements and conceptual designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, optimize application performance, and ensure reliability and security.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of software quality.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on best practices and career development.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and clarify business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and tools, and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.
- Support and maintain production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
