About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health. The user interface, which was written using Angular JS and Breeze, will be rewritten using .NET. The application function that collects data from various systems will remain in place.

Requirements

• Developer experience with Angular JS, Breeze, C#, Microsoft IIS, .NET, and SQL
• 3 Years Experience using an agile or scrum SDLC in a developer role
• 3 Years Knowledge of general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications
• 3 Years Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• 3 Years Experience using GitHub or Bitbucket
• 3 Years Experience using Jira
• 3 Years Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements.
• 3 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in application development; or an Associate degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application development; or High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in application development showing increasing levels of responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health.

• Ensure the application function that collects data from various systems remains in place.
