About The Position

This is a temporary, onsite position for a Full Stack .NET Developer in Houston, TX, with an estimated duration of 12 months and possible extensions. The role requires 100% availability to work at the Client’s site. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs and web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, writing clean C# code, optimizing SQL Server queries, and building responsive UIs with JavaScript. A key aspect of the role involves leveraging AI code generation tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, generate code, and write unit tests, while also critically reviewing and refining the AI-generated code. The position also includes participation in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX
• Experience with .NET Core / C#
• Experience in building APIs, middleware, Razor Pages, or MVC applications (8+ years)
• Experience with SQL Server: storing procedures, query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plans
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with ES6+, async/await, REST API consumption, frontend frameworks
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agent/Edit modes, or equivalent tools
• Experience with RESTful API design, layered architecture, dependency injection
• Experience with Visual Studio / VS Code, Git, Jira and Windsurf

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Write clean, maintainable C# code following SOLID principles and design patterns
• Develop and optimize complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, indexes, and execution plans
• Build responsive, interactive UIs using JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Leverage AI code generation tools (GitHub Copilot, WindSurf) to accelerate development, generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and refactor legacy code
• Critically review, validate, and refine AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies
