About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Mid / Senior Full-Stack Java Developer with strong experience in the design, development and maintenance of modern web-based applications. You will work across the application stack, primarily using Java, Spring Boot and Angular, and contribute to the delivery of robust, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions. The position can be based at one of our offices in Athens, Thessaloniki or Crete , with possibility of remote work from Greece or, depending on the arrangement, from within the EU.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience in designing, developing and integrating REST APIs
• Experience working with JSON and XML
• Experience with frontend/web development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Good understanding of object-oriented design, application architecture, design patterns and software engineering principles
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain robust and scalable Java-based web applications and services
• Develop backend functionality using Java and Spring Boot
• Design, implement and integrate REST APIs, using JSON and XML
• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, including REST API integration
• Participate in technical design and architectural decisions
• Collaborate within Agile, cross-functional development teams and, for Senior-level candidates, provide technical guidance to less-experienced developers.
