Homebot is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect industry standards and individual expertise. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, and professional experience. The number of units and vesting schedule are typically determined within the first 90 days of employment, based on role, level, and contribution. This role has an annual targeted base salary range of $125,000 - $143,000 plus an annual 10% performance bonus target. Requirements

  • 3+ years building production-grade software.
  • Capable full-stack engineer comfortable working in TypeScript, React, Ruby on Rails, and more.
  • Think in APIs and services. You've built and consumed REST and GraphQL APIs. You keep services decoupled, typed, and scalable.

  • Build for quality. You write clean, testable code with strong typing and runtime validation. You test behavior over implementation.
  • Care how it runs, and how it's used. You instrument what you build with monitoring, logging, tracing, and product analytics like Amplitude.
  • Solid grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL).
  • A collaborative teammate. You communicate clearly, give and take thoughtful code reviews, and enjoy working with product and design.
