About The Position

At each::labs, the Full Stack Engineer will serve as the company's engineering presence on the West Coast, working in San Francisco in a hybrid arrangement with a team primarily based in Istanbul. The role focuses on shipping end-to-end features across the frontend, backend, and API, while staying close to customers and collaborating with engineering and product on what to build next. The engineer may join sales calls to answer technical questions and then deliver fixes based on customer needs. Current priorities include improving the signup-to-first-generation experience; making usage costs, billing, invoices, and API records consistent and transparent across more than 600 models; building reliable SDKs, documentation, and error messages; supporting agents through an MCP server, model-readable documentation and specifications, and recoverable tool errors; and maintaining performance and reliability under sudden traffic spikes with queues, retries, provider fallback, rate limits, and idempotency. The team owns features from idea through production and measurement, ships small changes frequently behind feature flags, and expects everyone to read support tickets and talk with customers. Incidents are addressed through blameless postmortems. The current stack is React, Go, and Python, though it is not a requirement. The role is hybrid in San Francisco and offers close collaboration with the CEO.

  • Build and maintain typed SDKs, useful quickstarts, documentation, and actionable error messages.
  • Support AI agents as product users through MCP, tool descriptions, readable documentation and specifications, and recoverable errors.
  • Improve system reliability and performance under spiky traffic, including queues, retries, provider fallback, rate limits, idempotency, and p99 latency.
  • Own features from idea to production and assess their outcomes using relevant metrics.
  • Ship small changes frequently behind feature flags.
  • Read support tickets and speak with customers.
  • Participate in incident response and blameless postmortems.
  • Write short specifications, clear pull request descriptions, and honest postmortems.
